My client is a successful property organisation based in Birmingham city centre looking for a 1st line IT Support Engineer.

Description

• Provide first-line IT support to users, responding to queries and troubleshooting issues.
• Log and manage support tickets, ensuring timely resolution or escalation where necessary.
• Set up and configure hardware, software and user accounts.
• Monitor and maintain IT systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist with basic network troubleshooting and connectivity issues.
• Support colleagues with technical guidance and advice.
• Document processes and update technical manuals as needed.
• Collaborate with the wider IT team to improve systems and processes.

Profile

A successful 1st Line IT Support Engineer should have:

• Previous experience in an IT support role.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills and a logical approach to problem-solving.
• Familiarity with setting up and maintaining hardware and software systems.
• Basic knowledge of networking and connectivity principles.
• Excellent communication skills to assist users effectively.
• Organised and able to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
• Can commute to Birmingham City Centre
