that helps businesses build, manage and support modern technology environments. With continued growth across the business, they're looking to bring in a
2nd Line IT Engineer
who wants to develop their technical career and become part of a team working with modern infrastructure. This is an opportunity to get away from repetitive support work and become involved in a
much broader technical environment . You'll be dealing with escalated issues across a range of client infrastructures, working with experienced engineers and getting exposure to the technologies that sit behind modern cloud-based IT environments. You'll have the chance to strengthen your experience across
Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, networking and cloud infrastructure , while also supporting infrastructure changes, technical improvements and client projects. Because you'll be working for a cloud-focused MSP, every client environment brings different technical challenges and opportunities to learn. The role is also designed with
long-term progression
in mind. As you develop your technical ability, you'll be given the opportunity to take ownership of more complex issues and become increasingly involved in infrastructure and project work. The natural progression is towards
3rd Line Engineering and Infrastructure Engineering , giving you a clear route to move into a more senior and technically focused position. For an engineer who already has a solid 2nd Line foundation and wants to

Experience working within an
MSP environment
is highly desirable
Good knowledge of
Microsoft 365
Experience with
Azure and Cloud Infrastructure
Experience with
Entra ID / Azure AD
Strong understanding of
Active Directory
Good networking knowledge including
DNS, DHCP, VPNs and firewalls
Experience handling technical escalations and complex troubleshooting
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication and client-facing abilities
Ambition to progress into
