We are seeking an experienced Third Line Citrix SME to join an on-site support team in Preston. You will act as the technical authority for Citrix infrastructure, providing expert-level support, complex troubleshooting and technical assurance across secure enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 3rd Line support for complex Citrix incidents and problems.
- Act as the SME for Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, Citrix Cloud, NetScaler ADC and WEM .
- Lead technical investigations, troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Manage and optimise Citrix policies, profiles and end-user experience.
- Support patching, upgrades, migrations and infrastructure improvements .
- Work closely with architecture, engineering and cross-functional teams.
- Proactively identify and resolve defects and recurring issues.
- Maintain strong customer service and operate in line with ITIL and service management processes .
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a Third Line / Senior Infrastructure Support role.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop)
- Citrix Cloud
- NetScaler ADC
- Citrix WEM
- Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy
- FSLogix
- Experience supporting VMware, Hyper-V and/or XenServer environments.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 .
- Experience with ITIL and enterprise support models .
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Active SC Clearance is essential.
