3rd Line Cloud Engineer

In this role, you will support and manage Azure-based cloud services for enterprise customers, ensuring alignment with SLAs and KPIs. You’ll work within the Cloud Team to maintain production cloud infrastructure, focus on reliability, and implement improvements at scale. Your work will involve collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver secure, high-availability Azure environments. This is a hands-on position with a strong emphasis on automation and continuous improvement, in a dynamic, service-oriented culture.

• Perform root cause analysis and report cloud-related issues
• Monitor and optimize Azure environments for availability, performance, and security
• Troubleshoot build, deployment, and infrastructure issues
• Ensure security, scalability and reliability best practices
• Create and maintain documentation for processes and configurations
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell
• Participate in on-call support outside business hours

• Hands-on experience managing Azure environments across multiple subscriptions and regions
• Strong expertise in Azure IaaS (Compute, Storage, Networking)
• Experience with Azure networking (VNets, Subnets, NSGs, Route Tables, NICs)
• Knowledge of hybrid connectivity (ExpressRoute, VNet Gateways)
• Experience with load balancing and traffic management (Azure Load Balancer, Traffic Manager)
• AZ-104 and/or Terraform Associate advantageous
• Experience with Private Endpoints and Private DNS Zones
• Exposure to AKS and containerised workloads
• Experience with Azure ARC-enabled resources in hybrid environments
