Overview

In this pre-launch role you will shape and deliver UK & Ireland market access strategies for the inflammation portfolio, aligning with asset plans and cross-functional teams. You will craft evidence generation plans, identify gaps, and define value propositions to support reimbursement and access in a competitive landscape. You’ll influence senior stakeholders and ensure market access considerations are embedded in asset planning, to maximise future patient access and commercial success. This is a strategic, matrices-driven role with global collaboration and a clear impact on launch readiness.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of UK & Ireland market access strategies for the inflammation portfolio
  • Develop compelling value propositions by synthesising payer and stakeholder insights and shape evidence generation strategies
  • Monitor external policy and market changes to identify opportunities/risks and inform competitive positioning
  • Chair cross-functional access team meetings and ensure alignment across Market Access, Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Patient Engagement, Policy, Corporate Affairs, Medical Affairs, and Commercial teams
  • Drive market access planning and execution to optimise reimbursement potential and support product launches
  • Collaborate with Global Value & Access to influence local strategy with global insights
  • Manage access-related project plans, budgets and stakeholder engagement to meet milestones
  • Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders and influence without authority
  • Ensure activities comply with ABPI Code, legislation and BI policies
Key requirements
  • Degree in scientific/healthcare/life sciences or related discipline
  • 7+ years in pharma in Health Economics or Market Access with successful strategy development and implementation
  • Experience in UK market access environment and HTA bodies (NICE, SMC, AWMSG, NCPE)
  • Proven track record leading HTA submissions from early stages to reimbursement
  • Experience shaping evidence generation and value propositions for pre-launch assets
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills with senior leaders
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix without direct line management
