Accountant

In this role, you will oversee daily and month-end accounting operations, collaborating closely with senior management to ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance, and implement efficient processes that support the organization’s growth. • Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, payroll, employee expenses, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare month-end entries, including accruals, prepaid expenses, loans, and leases
• Maintain accurate financial records and provide timely reporting to senior leadership
• Track assets, apply depreciation, and oversee vendor contracts and pricing
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Analyze account balances, identify variances, and provide actionable recommendations
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
• Resolve discrepancies in accounts receivable and ensure accurate project billing
• Recommend improvements to accounting processes and team workflows
• Collaborate with project managers to support project-specific accounting needs

Qualifications:

The main qualifications for this role include:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field
• 2 - 5 years of hands‑on accounting experience
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards

Assets:

• CPA designation or progress towards CPA
• Experience with Intercompany transactions
• Deltek Vantage Point software knowledge
• WIPS or Percentage of Completion experience
