Accountant

Our client, an established and growing manufacturing company, has an immediate opportunity for an Accountant to join their team. This exciting opportunity offers a diverse mix of financial reporting and analysis, cost accounting as well as business support functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial information and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. Responsibilities include:

• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports to support accurate and timely accounting operations
• Analyze financial results, trends, and variances
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and other financial planning initiatives
• Perform inventory and cost accounting activities, including analysis and reconciliation of related financial data
• Assist with audit requirements, compliance activities, and internal controls
• Contribute to process improvements and special projects within the finance function

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• CPA designation is required.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing, industrial, public accounting, or a combination of these industries.
• Candidates must possess a strong accounting foundation with hand-on experience in financial reporting and analysis.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills are required for success in this position.
• Candidates must be proficient with ERP systems, and possess advanced MS Excel skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment will ensure success in this position.
