As theAccountant, you are an integral member of the Finance team, supporting theController and broader team in maintaining accurate financial records,reporting, tax compliance, and month-end and year-end processes. The role alsoinvolves coordinating with external accountants and auditors and ensuringfinancial matters are resolved accurately and efficiently.

KeyResponsibilities

• Preparefinancial statements and reporting according to statutory compliance.
• Completebank and other account reconciliations.
• Preparedaily sales summaries.
• Monitoraccounts receivable and follow up on delinquent accounts.
• PrepareGST/PST tax returns and submit government tax remittances.
• Postintercompany transactions and ensure all entries and correspondingtransactions are entered in the respective entities.
• Completethe month end close processes (preparation of journal entries, recurringentries and accruals).
• Preparequarterly reporting and dashboards.
• Cashflow reporting and monitoring.
• Maintainpaper and electronic filing systems to provide accurate records.
• Proactivelyresolve discrepancies and outstanding issues.

This role isperfect for your curious mindset and “interest” in learning the end-to-end flowof our business operations. This position will be based at our offices in ProsperaPlace, located in downtown Kelowna.

In a perfectworld, you are a chartered professional accountant (CPA), or well on your wayto being one, with at least a few years of hands-on experience in a full cycleaccountant role. Advanced MS excel skills, exposure to Microsoft Dynamics,along with experience working with medium to large sized companies, will scoreyou extra credit.
