Accountant – Inventory & Full-Cycle Accounting

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for an Accountant – Inventory & Full-Cycle Accounting in the industrial equipment and material handling industry in Scarborough, Ontario.

• Working hours: 8:30 to 4:30 with ½ unpaid lunch time. Total – 37.5 hour per week.

A day in the life:

• Enter parts orders and obtain quotes from suppliers
• Prepare customer quotes for parts orders using Business Vision Accounting Software
• Create purchase orders for suppliers in Business Vision
• Enter supplier invoices in Accounts Payable
• Enter invoices with appropriate costing in Business Vision
• Complete month-end sales reports in Excel using data from Business Vision
• Arrange shipping with freight carriers and prepare required documentation
• Enter engineering hours and maintain tracking spreadsheets in Excel

You bring:

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with computerized accounting software
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in full cycle accounting, including processing purchase orders and invoices, entering customer orders, confirming POs, and preparing invoices.
• Experience with Business Vision Accounting Software is considered an asset
• Excellent communication and written skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience obtaining quotes, coordinating purchase orders, receiving goods, and supporting purchasing processes.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience coordinating shipments, preparing bills of lading, arranging transportation, and communicating with internal teams regarding shipment requirements.
