- Responsibility for Accounts Payable activities, including invoice processing, purchase order matching, approval workflows, accurate coding to cost centers and G/L accounts, employee expense reports and multi-currency vendor payments
- Responsibility for Accounts Receivable activities, including customer payments, the dunning process, credit limit assessments and customer account reconciliations
- Handling of daily Treasury activities, including bank postings and the timely reconciliation of corporate credit cards and bank accounts
- Support of monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations and roll-forward schedules
- Oversight of monthly intercompany billing and reconciliation, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Responsibility for fixed asset management, including asset counts, as well as support for tax compliance activities, including monthly GST and PST returns for Canada and the preparation of sales and use tax data for the US
- Processing of payroll for Canadian and US entities, along with support for the administration of corporate group benefits
- Preparation and maintenance of work instructions, forms and documentation for finance processes to ensure consistent and efficient execution
- Preparation of ad-hoc financial analyses and reports, as well as support for finance-related projects and other tasks as required by the Finance Manager
Your tasks

Your profile
- Enrolled in a CPA program and/or bachelor’s degree in finance
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance
- Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot & V-lookups)
- Experience with ERP system
- Previous experience in manufacturing industry can be an asset
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail, excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- A team player and ability to work in a collaborative environment globally.
- Experience working within multi-entity and multi-currency organization will be an asset
