Accounting and Internal Audit Intern

Apply accounting, financial analysis, and auditing skills as a National Bank intern supporting Corporate Finance in French.

This internship is available across Financial Markets and Subsidiaries Accounting, Accounting, Consolidation and Disclosure, and Internal Audit teams. You will improve analysis environments, support reporting, and contribute to audit work. The position offers practical experience within Finance, reporting to the Director, Financial Planning and Analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Improve SQL, SAP, and Excel analysis environments
• Develop Excel analysis tools and dashboards
• Support hedge accounting calculations and quarterly reports
• Participate in non-financial internal audit mandates
• Communicate audit results and recommendations

Requirements:

• First or second university cycle student in accounting or auditing
• Strong analytical skills and financial concepts understanding
• Advanced Excel and working knowledge of artificial intelligence
• Ability to synthesize information and solve complex problems
• Excellent concise verbal and written communication skills

Build practical accounting, reporting, and audit experience while contributing analytical skills to National Bank’s Finance teams.
