FineLine Tube Products, Inc. is a growing manufacturer located in Upper Brookside, Nova Scotia, with over 20 years of experience producing high-quality automotive components. We specialize in brake, fuel, and transmission lines.

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, part-time leading to full-time accounting assistant to join our accounting team. This position is scheduled for day shifts, Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This position will be part-time with full-time hours leading for full-time.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts receivable, including creating invoices, processing payments, and preparing customer statements.
• Match credit card and bank statements and prepare bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports through the collection, analysis, and summarization of data.
• Identify and correct errors in financial records.
• Identify and elevate discrepancies, errors, or unusual transactions as required.

What We're Looking For

• 1-3 years relevant experience working in accounting and bookkeeping
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in Accounting softwares
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger

Pay

• $20 an hour, based on experience.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
