Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 depending on experience Job Type: Full-Time

About the Opportunity

This is a leadership role for an experienced accounting professional who excels in operational oversight, offshore team management, and systems improvement. You’ll oversee multiple team leads in India, manage complex F&B client portfolios, and drive continuous improvement across processes and systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading and mentoring 5-7 offshore team leads, ensuring high-quality deliverables and workflow efficiency
• Overseeing month-end close, financial reporting, and review of junior team work
• Managing client relationships across both Canada, and internationally
• Driving operational improvements, SOP development, and systems optimization
• Leading accounting system enhancements and implementations
• Supporting strategic initiatives and collaborating directly with the owners
• Ensuring accuracy, structure, and consistency across a high-volume F&B client base
• Bringing a strong, authoritative leadership style to guide offshore and local teams

Qualifications

• CPA designation
• Strong public practice background (required)
• Experience managing offshore teams (India or similar)
• Strong bookkeeping fundamentals to support review responsibilities
• Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced accounting environment
• Strong Excel abilities and comfort with AI-driven tools
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and operationally minded
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead with confidence
• Flexibility for occasional early morning or late evening calls
