Accounting Manager

A growing company is seeking an accounting and finance professional to support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, cash management, and financial analysis across multiple entities.

Responsibilities:

• Handle daily accounting activities, including cash receipts, disbursements, AP, AR, billing, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding balances, and assist with customer billing and collections.
• Process payroll and maintain related records across multiple entities.
• Prepare and record journal entries, accruals, commissions, credit card activity, and other financial transactions.
• Perform bank, credit card, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly close and preparation of financial statements and reporting.
• Maintain and update budgets, rolling forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Analyze actual results, expenses, revenue, and other financial activity and identify variances.
• Record and reconcile revenue from e-commerce and other sales channels.
• Track financial activity and reporting related to online marketplaces such as Amazon, Shopify, and Walmart.
• Assist with year-end reporting, W-2s, 1099s, tax filings, and external CPA requests.
• Support financial analysis related to new products, business initiatives, and other projects.
• Assist with insurance renewals, customer credit reviews, entity administration, and other financial or administrative matters.
• Work with internal teams and external CPAs, accountants, attorneys, and other advisors as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, controls, and overall efficiency.
• Participate in special projects and other accounting and finance initiatives as needed.
