Accounting Manager US GAAP

Lead US GAAP accounting at Magnet Forensics as Accounting Manager, strengthening close processes, reconciliations, and technical accounting judgments. This role supports global digital investigations software operations.

The Accounting Manager provides day-to-day leadership for the Accounting team and raises technical rigor. You will shorten and de-risk the close while resolving revenue, leases, equity, capitalization, and accrual matters. The role also supports audit preparation, internal controls, process documentation, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end and quarter-end close calendars and cycle-time reduction
• Review reconciliations and journal entries for quality
• Coach Staff Accountants and allocate their workloads
• Own balance sheet reviews and account reconciliation integrity
• Support audits and strengthen internal controls

Requirements:

• CPA designation required for this accounting leadership position
• Exceptional technical depth under US GAAP
• Five-plus years of relevant experience with supervision
• Public accounting background strongly preferred
• NetSuite or other accounting software experience preferred
