Accounting Specialist

Our client is a stable, profitable, private-equity-backed organization seeking a hands-on Accounting Specialist to take ownership of its day-to-day accounting and monthly close process.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close , including journal entries, account reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
• Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts, including cash, AR, AP, inventory, fixed assets, prepaids, accruals, and deferred revenue.
• Manage hands-on accounting activities including AP, payroll entries, fixed assets, and cash activity .
• Support the annual audit , tax reporting, budgeting, and ad-hoc financial analysis.
• Maintain accurate and timely accounting records within QuickBooks Online .

Qualifications

• Hands-on accounting experience with demonstrated ownership of the full month-end close process .
• Strong QuickBooks Online and Excel skills required.
• Experience preparing financial statements and performing detailed balance sheet reconciliations.
• Hands-on experience with AP, payroll, and audit support . xhqgsiq
• Self-starter who is organized, responsive, professional, and comfortable working independently in a lean accounting environment.
