Accounting Supervisor Financial Reporting

Lead general ledger accounting and financial reporting as an Accounting Intermediate Supervisor supporting accurate, timely finance operations. Develop broader leadership responsibilities within an established Canadian organization.

This opportunity suits an experienced accounting professional progressing toward broader finance leadership. You will oversee accounting activities, manage reconciliations, support reporting, and analyze financial results. The work also includes budgeting, forecasting, controls, audits, tax, payroll, and staff guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting transactions and required timelines
• Manage general ledger activities and account reconciliations
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closes
• Prepare reports, forecasts, analyses, and management information
• Guide accounting staff across core finance areas

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field
• Approximately eight or more years of accounting or finance experience
• Experience supervising, mentoring, or guiding accounting professionals
• Strong knowledge of reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and controls
• Strong Excel, organizational, analytical, and communication skills
