Accounting Supervisor Financial Reporting

Lead financial reporting and month-end close as an Accounting Supervisor in Surrey, BC, with hybrid flexibility after probation.

This full-time permanent position connects the Senior Accountant with the VP Finance. You will supervise accounting activity, prepare statements, manage audits, and support informed leadership decisions. The role suits an experienced accounting professional with CPA progress, advanced Excel, and analytical strengths.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end and year-end close with working papers
• Prepare monthly financial statements for VP Finance approval
• Manage annual external audits and required additional audits
• Mentor the Senior Accountant and review distributed work
• Keep the VP Finance informed with recommendations

Requirements:

• CPA designation or advanced progress in the CPA program
• Five or more years of progressive accounting experience
• Supervisory or mentoring experience
• Strong GAAP and regulatory compliance knowledge
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
