Accounting Systems Process Specialist

Manage complex accounting transactions and reconciliations with Canada Life across Public Service Plans in Winnipeg, Toronto, or London. Support SAP, FSCD, and Mainframe processes.

As an Accounting Systems Process Specialist, you will oversee back-end financial workflows and support Accounting System Coordinators. The work includes suspense account investigations, claim payment integrity, accounting controls, and internal audit requests. You will analyze transactions across multiple systems while maintaining accurate client financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform complex accounting and financial transactions
• Investigate transactions across SAP, FSCD, and Mainframe
• Reconcile suspense accounts for completeness and compliance
• Clear claims transactions across BEN, PAS, EAS, and E&C
• Provide operational support, troubleshooting, and guidance

Requirements:

• Post-secondary administrative education or related work experience
• Accounting education or CPA enrollment considered an asset
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
