Accounting Technician (Rouyn-Noranda)

Groupe Dion is a group of companies across Abitibi-Témiscamingue operating in various sectors.

Due to its growth and diversification, Groupe Dion is seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to join its administrative team as an Accounting Technician .

What you'll be doing

• Assist with monthly accounting for the group’s companies as needed
• Complete bank reconciliations
• Record accounting entries
• Prepare various accounting reports
• Process government remittances for different companies
• Prepare year-end files for various companies
• Carry out diversified accounting tasks
• Perform any other related duties

What we're looking for

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of the full accounting cycle
• Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
• Strong organizational skills and autonomy
• College diploma (DEC) in accounting or financial management
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
• Fluency in spoken and written English (asset)
• Proficiency with Avantage software (asset)
