LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk for a temporary opportunity with our client in Cincinnati, Ohio. This position is ideal for someone with strong AP experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced accounting environment and handling high-volume invoice processing.

Responsibilities:

• Process and enter vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
• Review invoices for proper approvals, coding, and supporting documentation
• Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documentation
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues
• Assist with check runs, ACH payments, and other vendor payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and maintain accurate AP records
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice and payment questions
• Assist with month-end close and AP reconciliations as needed
• Maintain organized electronic and physical accounting documentation
• Support additional accounting and administrative projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous Accounts Payable or related accounting experience required
• Experience with high-volume invoice processing preferred
• Understanding of invoice coding, purchase orders, and three-way matching
• Strong Microsoft Excel and data-entry skills
• Experience with ERP or accounting software preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to research discrepancies and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
