Responsibilities

our client is a growing and award-winning company with roots dating back to 1953, and are a trusted North American distributor and remanufacturer of lumber products. This role would be reporting into the Accounting Supervisor, and be responsible for the following, but not limited to:

Key Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile vendor invoices and accounts.
• Prepare CAD/USD payments, including EFT, ACH, and online banking.
• Resolve discrepancies and manage AP aging.
• Support month-end/year-end close, including accruals, journal entries, and prepaids.
• Maintain reconciliations and accounting records for multiple entities.
• Assist with general accounting and departmental support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of AP/general accounting experience.
• Accounting/Finance diploma or degree preferred.
• Strong Excel and accounting systems experience; Dynamics GP an asset.
• Experience with CAD/USD payments and month-end close.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Manufacturing/distribution experience an asset.
