Accounts Payable Operations Manager

As Manager, Accounts Payable, you will oversee the organization’s full-cycle AP function and lead a team of Supervisors and staff. This full-time, permanent position is based in the Sherwood Park office and requires on-site work. You will analyze metrics, identify risks, and improve procure-to-pay processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze AP metrics, trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Streamline procure-to-pay processes with Procurement and Operations
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and maintain accurate vendor records
• Manage cash disbursements and support working capital objectives
• Support audits with AP documentation and inquiry responses

Requirements:

• Strong analytical and process-improvement capabilities
• Experience identifying inefficiencies and implementing effective improvements
• Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Bachelor’s degree or CPA designation considered an asset
