About the Role

A privately owned, growing wholesale company is seeking an experienced AP Specialist to oversee core accounts payable functions across two affiliated businesses. This is a hands-on opportunity with visibility to the finance leadership team and potential for growth.

Top Requirements

• 4+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• Wholesale industry experience is required
• Experience working with inventory-related accounting
• Strong vendor management and AP aging experience
• Experience with cash forecasting and AP postings
• Ability to prepare and track AP KPIs
• QuickBooks experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the AP inbox and daily AP operations.
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve invoice/payment issues.
• Post AP transactions and monitor AP aging.
• Prepare cash forecasts and support cash management.
• Process and review expense reports.
• Prepare AP reporting and KPIs for management.
• Work closely with the Controllers, VP of Finance, Credit Manager, and Senior Accountant.
• Potentially oversee an offshore AP data-entry team .
• Support AP processes related to inventory and wholesale operations.
• Assist with process improvements and the upcoming Microsoft Dynamics implementation . xhqgsiq

Compensation & Schedule

• $75,000–$80,000+ , depending on experience
• Discretionary bonus
• First 30 days: 5 days in office
• After 30 days: 4 days in office / 1 day remote
• 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Remote day assigned by management
