Electronic Machine Operator

Location: Montreal

Contract type: 6-month night shift contract

Hourly Rate: $20.38 - $23.44 /hour

What you will do

  • Operate and monitor SMT assembly line equipment
  • Follow production schedules, work orders, and instructions, set up/oversee PWB (printed wiring board) cleaning equipment and visually inspect PCBs/assemblies for quality compliance
  • Maintain production, quality, and inventory records and perform basic equipment cleaning/preventive maintenance
  • Support material handling and inventory replenishment
  • Follow safety and operational procedures

What we require

  • High school diploma
  • 1+ years’ operating computerized SMT Pick-and-Place equipment
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

What we prefer

  • Knowledge of IPC standards
  • Experience in electronics/high-volume manufacturing
  • ERP/inventory system experience
  • Troubleshooting skills, cross-team communication, adaptability
