Accounts Receivable Controller

Oversee Accounts Receivable, billing, and cash collections as Controller at Prime Material Handling in Dartmouth, NS. The role is full-time and permanent.

Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, you will lead an experienced three-person accounting team. Your focus includes transaction processing, customer questions, reconciliations, payroll, and high-volume frontline support. You will also provide financial data and recommendations for business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, billing, and collections
• Support daily data entry and customer questions
• Supervise and mentor three accounting professionals
• Manage corporate payroll functions accurately and timely
• Provide financial recommendations supporting growth and business decisions

Requirements:

• Five-plus years of progressive corporate accounting experience
• Experience managing teams and budgeting or forecasting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are strictly required
• Post-secondary accounting, business administration, or related education
• Flexible, collaborative leadership and complex problem-solving ability
