Actuarial Associate Financial Planning Analysis

Support financial reporting and forecasting as an Actuarial Associate with ivari in Toronto, using Excel and business performance analytics. Collaborate across teams to inform senior management.

This full-time Corporate Actuarial position supports the Managing Actuary, FP&A. You will prepare management presentations, analyze earnings variance drivers, and coordinate financial planning inputs. The work includes life insurance reporting, business analytics, scenario analysis, and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support forecasts, variance analysis, and financial reporting
• Prepare management reports, presentations, and board materials
• Analyze earnings drivers against plans and prior periods
• Coordinate annual financial plan inputs across teams
• Support scenarios, tools, models, and process improvements

Requirements:

• Degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or related area
• At least three years' relevant life insurance experience
• Associate designation from the Society or Canadian Institute of Actuaries
• Knowledge of individual life, annuity, IFRS 17, and LICAT frameworks
• Strong Excel, communication, and interpersonal skills
