Advancement Analytics Analyst

McGill University seeks an Advancement Analyst skilled in data analysis and performance reporting for University Advancement in Montreal. This full-time position supports strategic decisions.

The Advancement Analyst supports University Advancement through trend monitoring, value-for-money analysis, benchmarking, and governance reporting. Working with team members, this role develops insights for senior management decision-making. Responsibilities include forecasting, data mining, KPI monitoring, and reporting across advancement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct trend analyses, financial projections, and performance reporting
• Collect industry and benchmarking data supporting fundraising outcomes
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators
• Prepare reports, executive summaries, and management analysis
• Enhance dashboards, reporting tools, and data structures

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and three years of related experience
• Strong SQL skills and multi-source data analysis experience
• Experience with Power BI, Python, R, Excel, or Salesforce reporting
• Knowledge of statistical and machine learning models is an asset
• Ability to communicate findings and manage multiple projects
