Agentic Forward Deployed Engineer

Hiring: Agentic Forward Deployed Engineer | London, UK

Contract: 6 months (extension likely)

Location: Hybrid, London | UK-based

Employment: Full-time

We're looking for an experienced Agentic Forward Deployed Engineer to help teams build, secure and operate AI-powered products at scale. You'll work closely with engineering, architecture, security and governance teams to establish agentic engineering practices, AI governance, evaluation frameworks, security controls and cost management .

Key Responsibilities

• Establish coding-agent workflows, repository integration and code review practices
• Coach engineering teams on agent-assisted development
• Design governance frameworks for agent behaviour, oversight and auditability
• Review agentic systems for prompt injection, permissions, data boundaries and secrets management
• Implement LLM evaluation, red-teaming and guardrail frameworks
• Establish AI cost monitoring, budgeting and reporting
• Build reusable reference implementations for agentic services and AI-enabled products
• Upskill UK and international engineering teams and transfer capability to internal owners

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience building, securing and operating production agentic systems
• Strong expertise in LLM evaluation, red-teaming and guardrails
• Deep understanding of AI security and risk mitigation
• Experience with enterprise compliance, data protection and procurement
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and coaching skills
• Experience establishing AI engineering, enablement or platform capabilities
