In this role, you will shape policy on agentic payments and AI applications to payments, collaborating with FCA teams and external regulators. You will apply deep technical expertise to develop strategies for domestic and international use cases, influencing stakeholders and driving innovation while safeguarding consumers. You’ll lead cross‑team policy work and provide expert briefings to senior leadership, shaping the future of payments regulation. - Lead policy work on agentic payments across FCA and with external partners to enable innovation while protecting users
- Apply deep technical expertise in agentic AI to policy and strategy development for domestic and international use cases
- Engage stakeholders by building relationships with government, regulators, consumer groups, and industry experts
- Provide expert insights and briefings on agentic payments to colleagues and senior management
- Grow expertise in payments services and regulations and advance FCA thinking on AI and agentic payments
- Coach, mentor, and develop talent to elevate analytical and risk management capabilities
- Model FCA values and foster a culture of integrity, collaboration, and excellence
- Significant professional experience in applying agentic AI in payments
- Proven ability to present complex issues clearly to senior leaders, orally and in writing
- Demonstrable experience building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience leading complex projects with strong problem‑solving and organisational skills
