Agile Delivery Scrum Master

Lead Agile delivery in Toronto with Scrum facilitation, blocker removal, and hands-on coordination across technology, operations, and business stakeholders.

Scotiabank seeks a Scrum Master to enable high-performing Agile teams through day-to-day delivery leadership. You will partner with Product Owners and engineering teams while managing dependencies, risks, release readiness, and stakeholder alignment. The role emphasizes predictable, unblocked delivery and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Sprint Planning, stand-ups, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives
• Coach teams on Scrum values, transparency, inspection, and adaptation
• Monitor Jira boards, progress, blockers, risks, and dependencies
• Coordinate external teams to remove delivery barriers
• Support release planning, approvals, evidence, and readiness

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline
• Five years in Business Analyst roles within financial services
• Experience with Risk domain projects and financial risk processes
• Technical and data analytical skills with Google Cloud Platform or Azure Databricks
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
