AI Agent Infrastructure Engineering Intern

Build AI agent infrastructure at Steel in Toronto, using strong programming fundamentals and AI coding tools in person. Ship production software used by developers.

As a Software Engineering Intern, you will help build browser infrastructure and developer tools for AI agents and apps. You will work on APIs, SDKs, developer tools, and AI agent experiments. The work includes scaling browser sessions and solving technical problems with the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and ship features across Steel APIs and SDKs
• Improve browser infrastructure performance and reliability
• Create open-source demos for AI agents and browsers
• Experiment with models, prompts, and agent frameworks
• Scale browser sessions using containers and distributed systems

Requirements:

• Pursuing Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent experience
• Strong programming fundamentals and software project experience
• Comfort learning languages, frameworks, and development tools
• Active use of AI coding tools and agents
• Ability to work in person from Toronto
