AI and Machine Learning Intern

Apply Python, SQL, and machine learning techniques as an AI Intern with Manulife John Hancock in Toronto through a hybrid summer program.

This internship supports students pursuing data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or related degrees. You will explore datasets, build predictive models, and prototype generative AI solutions. Experienced practitioners provide guidance across enterprise data science, machine learning, and emerging AI lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Explore, prepare, and validate data for analysis
• Build and evaluate machine learning models
• Support feature engineering and performance optimization
• Prototype generative AI solutions safely and effectively
• Develop reproducible Python and SQL workflows

Requirements:

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in a related field
• Experience with Python, R, Java, or similar
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and tools
• Experience using SQL or data querying languages
• Understanding of Git and collaborative coding practices
