AI & Automation Platforms Manager

As IT Automation & AI Platform Lead, you will shape the governance, strategy and operating model for enterprise automation and AI at scale. You will partner with IT, security, architecture and business teams to turn ideas into business value through safe, self-serve automation and AI solutions. You’ll own platform roadmaps, controls, and lifecycle management while enabling cross-functional collaboration. • Define and evolve strategy, service boundaries, lifecycle standards and operating model for enterprise automation and AI platforms
• Lead governance of technologies including Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, Power Automate Desktop, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Copilot and RPA
• Establish controls around environment strategy, DLP, risk management, auditability, resilience, support and compliance
• Shape and prioritise automation and AI demand portfolio balancing value, risk and strategic priorities
• Determine suitable modes for citizen development, IT-supported delivery or enterprise-led implementation
• Translate business challenges into practical automation, workflow and AI solutions
• Collaborate with Security, Architecture, Audit and stakeholders to enable innovation without compromising control
• Develop reusable solution patterns, standards, templates and starter kits
• Operationalise Copilot and AI-enabled workflows across Microsoft 365 and processes
• Lead platform roadmaps, lifecycle management, migration and decommissioning of legacy solutions
• Work in Agile/DevOps to deliver continuous improvement and change
• Lead cross-functional teams and external suppliers
• Measure value and impact of automation and digital workflow transformation

• Significant IT experience with automation, platform management, business applications or digital workflow transformation
• Strong knowledge of enterprise automation and low-code platforms (Power Platform, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, RPA)
• Experience owning/managing enterprise platforms and roadmaps
• Experience establishing governance, operating models and service standards at scale
• Understanding of risk, DLP, compliance, auditability and platform controls
• Experience prioritising technology demand and managing a value/risk/strategy portfolio
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience working across Business, IT, Security, Architecture, Audit and external suppliers
• Experience delivering technology change through Agile/DevOps
• Strong service leadership and change management capability
• It would be great if you have operationalising Copilot/AI workflows, agent orchestration, reusable templates, process improvement, Lean and value measurement
