AI & Cloud Developer - Financial IT

In this role you will design and deliver AI-powered finance solutions, leveraging AI, ML and cloud-native tech to modernize financial systems. You will collaborate with a global team to evaluate models, build prototypes, and integrate automation into critical financial applications. Expect work on scalable AWS-based web apps, data-driven enhancements, and cross-functional delivery that aligns with the company’s mission to move the world forward. • Design, develop and maintain AI-powered solutions (including LLM-based processing)
• Build and deploy scalable web apps and microservices on AWS (Python)
• Drive ML R&D, evaluate models, prototype and recommend adoption
• Develop and optimise prompt engineering for production AI
• Manage and enhance AWS infrastructure (ECS, Lambda, S3) and CI/CD pipelines
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing Financial IT applications to automate processes
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to assess requests and deliver solutions
• Support evolution of finance platforms with AI-driven enhancements and cloud-native tech

• Strong production-quality Python development experience
• AI/ML experience including LLM integration, prompt engineering and model evaluation
• Hands-on AWS deployment and management
• Some Java development experience for ERP integration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work independently
• Excellent communication to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
• AWS AI Practitioner certification (or willingness to obtain during probation)
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD, MongoDB, JavaScript/TypeScript or finance systems (advantageous)
