AI Engineer

In this role you will design, build and deploy AI-powered solutions to drive business value and improve operations. You will work on production-grade AI and ML models, including LLM applications and copilots, while collaborating with data engineers, developers and business stakeholders. You will establish AI governance and best practices, ensuring reliable, secure and scalable outcomes. • Design, build and deploy AI/ML solutions in production
• Develop and optimise LLM applications
• Create AI copilots, chatbots, knowledge management, and workflow automation tools
• Build scalable data pipelines to support AI initiatives
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector databases
• Integrate AI into existing systems and processes
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies for business impact
• Monitor model performance, reliability and security
• Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and stakeholders
• Establish AI governance, best practices and responsible AI standards
• Provide technical guidance on AI adoption and implementation

• Commercial experience developing AI/ML/generative AI solutions
• Strong Python programming skills
• Experience with LLMs and generative AI
• Knowledge of PyTorch, TensorFlow or Scikit-learn
• Experience with Azure AI Services
• Understanding of prompt engineering, RAG architectures and vector databases
• Experience building and deploying APIs and cloud-based applications
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
