AI Forward Deployed Engineer

In this role you embed with clients to uncover high-value AI opportunities and rapidly turn ideas into working solutions. You bring business sense, technical depth and pragmatic consulting to move clients from ambition to measurable outcomes using Microsoft technologies. You lead discovery, shape AI opportunities, and build production-minded prototypes, balancing governance, security and enterprise considerations. You work across AI strategy, solution architecture and engineering to enable scalable, responsible adoption and real value delivery.

• Embed with client teams to understand business processes, technology landscape and priorities
• Lead discovery, ideation and design workshops with stakeholders
• Identify AI, agents and automation opportunities that deliver business value
• Translate challenges into use cases and actionable technical requirements
• Create and prioritize AI opportunity backlogs and roadmaps
• Architect, build and iterate AI prototypes and proofs of value
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems and data sources
• Apply engineering best practices across CI/CD, testing, and security
• Establish governance and patterns for responsible AI and adoption
• Educate stakeholders and enable delivery teams on AI capabilities and patterns
• Support pre-sales through discovery, demonstrations and PoCs
• Share reusable assets and stay current with Microsoft AI roadmap
• Mentor colleagues and promote a culture of quality and accountability
