AI Led Senior Maximo Developer

In this AI-led Senior Maximo Developer role, you ensure stability and evolution of live Maximo/MAS environments while accelerating defect diagnosis and release validation with AI. You’ll work with implementation teams to support migrations, and explore AI-enabled extensions to move clients toward predictive, data-driven asset management. A strong focus on service continuity, performance, and scalable automation drives the impact of this position.

• Escalate and triage complex Maximo/MAS incidents; resolve defects beyond initial support
• Diagnose issues across UI, configuration, integrations, and data within SLAs
• Lead root-cause analysis and convert trends into permanent fixes
• Provide front-end end-user support for usability and data issues
• Deliver configuration changes via Application Designer, workflow, and security groups
• Develop automation scripts (Python/Jython, JavaScript) including AI-enabled patterns
• Enhance BIRT reports and ad-hoc reporting; maintain upgrade paths
• Own promotion of changes through development to production; plan deployments
• Monitor platform health and drive continuous improvement; apply predictive monitoring
• Define reusable AI-enabled assets and runbooks for client engagements
• Mentor juniors; contribute to bids, demonstrations, and service transition

• Minimum 6 years' IBM Maximo experience in senior/lead role
• Strong Maximo configuration skills: App Designer, workflow, escalations, expressions, security
• Proven defect triage and RCA on live systems
• Release and environment management with DBC scripting and Migration Manager
• Experience with ITIL-aligned incident/problem/change/release management
• Automation scripting (Python/Jython, JavaScript) and SQL
• MIF knowledge and REST/SOAP interfaces for live integrations
• Functional grounding in Work Management, Asset Lifecycle, Inventory, Procurement, PM/Job Plans, Service Management
• Ability to translate business problems to Maximo solutions; advocate standard functionality where possible
• Experience creating reusable delivery accelerators, automation frameworks, or AI-enabled assets
• Ability to identify AI value in client solutions and articulate this to stakeholders
• Hands-on MAS8/MAS9 experience; end-to-end migration preferred
• Maximo health/predictive modules; familiarity with AI governance
• Java/J2EE MBO customization; OpenShift/Kubernetes familiarity
• ServiceNow or similar ITSM tooling; willingness to pursue certification in Maximo Manage MAS Foundation
• Asset-intensive industries experience (A&D, utilities, rail, O&G, etc.)
• UK security clearance and address history requirements (BPSS/SC for role)
