AI Machine Learning Engineer Finance

Design scalable AI/ML capabilities for global finance transformation using Python, LLM frameworks, and production-grade machine learning practices. This full-time role is based within Chubb Canada.

As an AI Engineer, you will lead architecture, solutioning, and development for intelligent finance and controllership capabilities. You will translate business requirements into technical solutions while partnering with Finance, IT, Analytics, Legal, Compliance, Security, Architecture, and Risk. The work emphasizes compliant-by-design delivery across global use cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop global AI/ML finance solutions
• Build reusable capabilities, pipelines, processes, and tools
• Deploy models with monitoring and lifecycle management
• Ensure privacy, governance, security, and regulatory alignment
• Mentor engineers and manage stakeholder communications

Requirements:

• Two to five years in AI Engineering or Machine Learning
• Production Python expertise focused on LLMs
• Knowledge of transformers, trl, deepspeed, and PyTorch
• Cloud, distributed architecture, Kubernetes, or Docker experience
• Understanding of MLOps, privacy, governance, and responsible AI
