AI-Native Software Engineering Vice President

Lead AI-assisted software engineering at CXT Software, with ownership of architecture, quality, delivery, reliability, and customer outcomes in a fully remote model.

Reporting to the CTO, the AI-Native Vice President of Software Engineering leads engineering and SaaS operations end to end. You will guide managers, shape AI adoption, and oversee .NET, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, SQL, MAUI, and Azure PaaS. The work supports software used by courier, route delivery, and healthcare logistics companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, hire, and develop Directors, architects, and engineering teams
• Make AI-assisted development, testing, review, and operations standard practice
• Run experiments with baselines, metrics, and clear decisions
• Own quality, releases, uptime, incidents, security operations, and cloud cost
• Shape architecture, modernization, roadmap delivery, and customer escalations

Requirements:

• 12+ years software engineering experience
• 5+ years engineering leadership and 2+ years managing managers
• Experience leading multi-team organizations across separate codebases
• Experience owning B2B SaaS production operations through teams
• Production use and multi-team adoption of AI coding assistants
