AI Platform Developer Internship

Apply Machine Learning to real supply chain problems at Kinaxis while developing Python microservices. This placement offers hands-on production software experience.

As a full-time developer on the ML team, you will contribute to new product ideas, AI platform improvements, and production systems. The four or eight-month placement starts January 2027 and includes mentorship, training, and agile collaboration. Ottawa and Toronto interns attend the office three days weekly; other Canadian locations are remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new product ideas and executive demonstrations
• Write Python for microservice architectures
• Improve AI platform scalability and security
• Collaborate through sprint planning and pair programming
• Participate in retrospectives and cross-functional delivery

Requirements:

• Enrollment in full-time education or recent upcoming graduation
• Two or more completed Computer Science or Engineering years
• Hands-on Machine Learning experience from work terms or competitions
• Interest in experimenting with new technology
• Statistical inference experience is an asset
