AI Principal Architect

In this role you lead architecture for complex and high-value AI pursuits, guiding engagements from discovery through win. You act as a senior technical advisor to client executives and internal teams, translating business problems into enterprise-grade AI designs across data, models, agents, integration, security, governance, and operations. You shape strategy across NTT DATA capabilities and create reusable patterns and narratives that differentiate solutions. You also mentor architects, review solutions to reduce risk, and guide PoC/MVP work to scale into production programs.

• Lead architecture for complex AI pursuits from discovery to win
• Advise client executives and internal pursuit teams on technical strategy
• Translate business problems into enterprise AI solution designs across data, models, agent orchestration, integration, security, governance, and operating models
• Shape solution strategy across consulting, applications, data, cloud, BPO, managed services, and partner technologies
• Create reusable architecture patterns, technical points of view, accelerators, and differentiated narratives
• Conduct technical solution reviews to challenge assumptions and reduce delivery risk
• Guide PoC and MVP design to ensure scalability into production
• Mentor AI Solution Architects and support capability-building across the global AI architecture community
• Surface architecture gaps, delivery risks, and emerging technology needs to AI GTM leadership

• 12+ years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture, technology consulting, systems integration, software engineering, or data architecture
• 5+ years designing or delivering AI, data science, ML, advanced analytics, or intelligent automation solutions
• 2+ years hands-on or architecture experience with GenAI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, orchestration frameworks, or enterprise AI platforms
• Deep understanding of AI architecture considerations including data readiness, model selection, security, governance, integration, scalability, observability, and operations
• Experience leading architecture for complex client pursuits, large transformation programs, or multi-tower technology solutions
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
