AI SDLC Forward Deployed Engineer - Consultant

As a Forward Deployed Engineer at the Consultant level, you will hands-on contribute to enterprise AI projects, embedding with client teams to design, build, and ship production-ready AI solutions across the SDLC. You’ll develop reusable assets and help deploy frontier AI capabilities, shaping how AI is delivered at scale. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to accelerate adoption, while staying current on LLM capabilities and governance. This role offers direct client impact, rapid learning, and opportunity to influence enterprise AI deployment standards.

• Deliver production-quality AI applications within client systems, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
• Develop reusable artefacts and tools (e.g., MCP servers, sub-agents, agent orchestration frameworks, evaluation tooling) for cross-client deployment.
• Support enterprise deployments by integrating AI capabilities with existing IT infrastructure, workflows, and applications.
• Drive AI adoption by collaborating with client engineering and product teams and up-skilling stakeholders.
• Stay ahead of AI trends (LLMs, agentic frameworks, evaluation methodologies) and contribute to the AI product development ecosystem.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with client teams and AI ecosystem partners, identifying opportunities for AI value creation.
• Represent Accenture in client engagements, promoting responsible and safe AI usage.

• 2–4 years in a technical engineering role with client-facing or consulting exposure
• Experience delivering production applications with real business impact in enterprise environments
• Practical experience with large language models: prompt engineering, loop engineering, agent development, evaluation frameworks, deployments
• Solid programming proficiency (TypeScript/JavaScript ecosystem, Python, Java; willingness to learn Go, Rust)
• Hands-on experience building and deploying with AI agents and workflows
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate AI concepts for non-technical audiences
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and working across complex organisations
