At IBM Software, you will develop features for IBM Z systems supporting banking, payments, and global commerce. You will integrate LLMs, APIs, and enterprise data while learning through prototyping, testing, and refinement. The internship starts May 03, 2027, and lasts 12–16 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and test AI-powered features
  • Integrate LLMs, APIs, and enterprise data
  • Write specifications, prompts, and testable acceptance criteria
  • Evaluate AI quality, performance, failures, and incorrect outputs
  • Debug model interactions, applications, APIs, and systems

Requirements:

  • Strong data structures, algorithms, design, and testing fundamentals
  • Proficiency in Python and API-integrated applications
  • Hands-on LLM application or working prototype experience
  • Systematic debugging and failure investigation skills
  • Availability for the full internship duration
