Air Canada Data Analytics Analyst

Power Air Canada’s Flight Operations analytics with SQL, Power BI, and Python while supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Analyst supports Flight Operations Operational Excellence through data analytics, business intelligence, and process excellence. You will create data models, dashboards, automated reports, and reliable datasets using SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, and Python. The work also strengthens process standards, quality controls, performance indicators, and regulatory data governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models, and scheduled updates
• Write and maintain SQL queries, Snowflake views, and transformations
• Develop automated data pipelines using Python and Power Automate
• Validate operational and regulatory data quality and traceability
• Present trends, forecasts, and insights to senior management

Requirements:

• University degree in a quantitative discipline
• At least two years in analytics, intelligence, or process improvement
• Advanced SQL and Power BI proficiency
• Working knowledge of Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, and Python
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
