Airport IT Infrastructure Support Engineer

Support Vanderlande’s airport IT infrastructure through Linux, Windows, databases, and middleware expertise. Work across mission-critical environments supporting global baggage handling operations.

As an IT Solution Support Engineer, you will maintain and improve enterprise platforms supporting business-critical airport operations. Your work spans Oracle and SQL databases, virtualization, application hosting, system integrations, monitoring, and High Level Controls software. You will help strengthen availability, security, performance, and lifecycle compliance across these environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure reliable operation, availability, performance, and capacity of airport IT environments
• Resolve infrastructure, database, middleware, integration, and application incidents
• Execute upgrades, security patching, vulnerability remediation, and lifecycle activities
• Support monitoring, backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and system interfaces
• Develop scripts and automation solutions for operational efficiency

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
• Knowledge of Linux, Windows Server, Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL
• Understanding of middleware, integrations, networking, TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls
• Experience with VMware or Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization technologies
• Professional English and willingness to provide international standby support
