Offering a flexible opportunity, Alaska Licensed Optometrists will work remotely as Independent Contractors, examining patients and generating prescriptions using patented tele-optometry technology. Key responsibilities Examine patients through remote technology in compliance with state licensing requirements Utilize specialized video conferencing tools to communicate effectively with patients Collaborate with Ophthalmic Technicians to analyze eye health and provide prescriptions for eyewear Required qualifications Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution Current and valid Alaska state optometry license Experience with telehealth or remote patient care preferred Ability to work independently as a contractor Willingness to undergo credentialing and training as needed
