Cardiology APP in Stillwater, OK Full-Time Outpatient Cardiology Day Schedule Ambulatory ClinicA Cardiology clinic in Stillwater, Oklahoma is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care in collaboration with a supervising physician.Opportunity Highlights:

• Full-time Cardiology APP opportunity
• Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner considered
• Day schedule
• Outpatient Cardiology clinic setting
• Work directly with a Cardiologist
• Provide patient assessments and follow-up care
• Obtain and maintain patient histories
• Develop treatment plans
• Order X-rays and other diagnostic procedures
• Order and review laboratory testing
• Prescribe medications according to established protocols
• Manage selected acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions
• Coordinate referrals when appropriate
• Provide patient education and counseling
• Conduct health assessments using diagnostic tools and laboratory testing
• Clinic or ambulatory experience preferred
Compensation and Benefits:

Candidate Requirements:
• Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner / APRN
• Graduate of an approved Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Nursing program
• Current Oklahoma PA or APRN/NP license
• National certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, as applicable
• Practice under the supervision of an active staff physician as required
• Current CPR certification or ability to complete certification within 30 days of hire
• Clinic or ambulatory experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient education skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within an outpatient Cardiology practice
