Locums Cardiology NP/PA (Electrophysiology) Duluth, MN (MN license required) Why This Role

  • No call or weekends
  • 1-2 weeks/month, ongoing
  • Outpatient EP clinic

    • Assignment Details
  • Start: ASAP, once credentialed
  • Duration: Ongoing until permanent hire
  • Schedule: Approximately 1-2 weeks/month
  • Typical hours: 7a-5:30p
  • Coverage type: Clinic Only No Call
  • Setting: Outpatient Cardiology/Electrophysiology
  • Volume: Approximately 15 patients/day
  • Appointment slots: 30 minutes
  • Inpatient rounding handled by permanent APP staff
  • No admissions required
  • Support: 1 EP physician, 3 RNs, 1 MA, 2 APPs, and office staff
  • EMR: Epic
  • Credentialing: Approximately 90 days; no temporary privileges

  • Outpatient Cardiology and Electrophysiology care
  • Evaluation and management of EP patients
  • Cardiology consultations and follow-up visits
  • Ongoing management of established clinic patients
  • No inpatient rounding responsibilities
  • No call coverage
  • No APP or resident supervision required
    • Requirements
  • Experienced Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • MN license required
  • BLS required
  • Electrophysiology experience preferred
  • Cardiology background strongly preferred
  • Board certification not required by facility
    • Compensation
  • Facility is accepting bids
  • Malpractice provided
  • Travel and lodging reimbursed
