# Certified Nurse Midwife opening in Liberty Township, OHFull-Time Day Shift No Nights or Weekends Labor & Delivery / Women's Health A full-time Certified Nurse Midwife is being sought to support labor and delivery, postpartum care, OB triage and women's health services at the Liberty Campus in Liberty Township, Ohio. The position is a 1.0 FTE day-shift role with no nights, no weekends and no call coverage.Opportunity Highlights:

• Support labor and delivery and postpartum care
• Evaluate and treat patients presenting to OB triage
• Interpret NSTs and fetal heart rate tracings
• Diagnose and manage common pregnancy conditions
• Perform rupture of membranes and placement of internal monitors when necessary
• May assist with cesarean sections and vaginal deliveries
• Provide postpartum care, education and discharge planning
• May evaluate gynecology consults in the ED in conjunction with a collaborating physician
• May provide coverage for prenatal and postpartum patients in the OB/GYN office as needed
• Serve as the point person for Dilapan cervical ripening, a new option for inductions
• Practice at The Christ Hospital Liberty Campus

Candidate Requirements:
• Certified Nurse Midwife with a Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited nurse midwifery program
• CNM certification through the American Midwifery Certification Board or another accredited certification body
• Current valid Ohio Board of Nursing license or applicable state license
• BLS certification
• ACLS and PALS as dictated by delineation of privileges
• Standard Care Arrangement with collaborating physician for Ohio or applicable state
• 2-3 years of Certified Nurse Midwife experience preferred
• Membership in a professional organization is desirable
